What is the Live or Oral Auction?
After the Silent Auction closes, everyone moves into the Parish Hall where the Dinner is served and the Live / Oral Auction commences. The Live Auction items are typically bigger items and projects created by each class. This is a traditional auction, with real auctioneers taking bids. If you want to bid on an item in the Live Auction: hold up your bidder paddle so your bidder number is visible to make sure the auctioneer and crew notice you.
Anyone can participate in the Live Auction including those who have purchased Silent Auction Only tickets (these tickets exclude the catered dinner).
Who is our emcee this year?
Eric Anctil, Dad of Jack in 4th grade & Brady in 1st grade, is our emcee this year. This is his first year and we look forward to his wit and humor!
Who Auctioneers the Live Auction?
Stokes Auctioneering Group will be officiating and calling the Live Auction items.
What are the official Live Auction Rules?
The Auctioneer will seek verbal bids on oral auction items listed in the Oral Auction section of the catalog. Upon purchase of an item, your bid number will be recorded by a cashier. This number will serve as the bidder's account number. Certificates for goods and services will be available at the cashier's table.
