We are thrilled that you'll be joining us on Auction Night. Please make your reservations and buy your tickets soon. We expect to sell out and don't want you to miss it! 
The Evening begins at 5 pm

On Auction Night you'll be greeted by our lovely Concierge crew... follow them into Wonderland just like Alice followed the White Rabbit. They'll answer your questions, help you find your table, and be a wealth of information throughout the evening unlike the White Rabbit who was full of riddles!

CHECK IN is in the Fireside Room where you'll find all the Class Projects on display along with a few select Silent Auction Items to get you in the bidding mood. Once you find your table, look through your Auction Package, note your Bidder Number, put on your "Drink Me" Wristband, and take in the Wonderland scene, head upstairs to the Gym for Silent Auction. 

SILENT AUCTION is where the action begins. It's like the Cocktail Hour but better. It's the trifecta of a good time... shop, socialize, & imbibe! From 5-6, our Wonderland inspired Cocktail is available for purchase. Specially created by Chef Aaron Woo of Natural Selection just for us on Auction Night. You'll simply must arrive early and try one. They're available for a limited time and in limited quantity for $10 each. 

In between table closings, stop for a bite of Cheese and Crackers at our Wonderland Cheese Bar and sample Simpatica's complimentary passed Hors d'Oeuvres: Sweet Onion Tart with Fromage Blanc & Parsley Pesto and Winter Squash Fritters with Roasted Shallot Jam. 

Wine & Beer are available throughout the Silent Auction, complimentary for those with "Drink Me" Wristbands. If you've purchased an "Eat Me" ticket prior to Auction Night and decide to imbibe, Wristbands are available to purchase for $15. 

Our Silent Auction Announcer will be our guide, alerting our guests to table closings and providing valuable information. Silent Auction Table closings are scheduled for 6:30, 6:55, 7:15 pm. The Silent Auction Late Table will be in the Fireside Lounge with a closing time of 9 pm.

SIGN UP EVENTS are a great Auction Tradition. We're thrilled to announce our Sign Up Events, some of which are available for Early Purchase. Find the Sign Up Posters along the perimeter of the Gym. Simply fill in your Name & Bidder Number to reserve your spot. Kids Kreations cards will be available for order, as well. You'll get to see every at the Kids Kreations display. Stop by and see these delightful pieces of art available only for a limited time.
Throughout the early evening, Best of the Best Tickets and Treasure Chest Keys will be offered by our Sales Volunteers. Buy these opportunities to win big.

BEST OF THE BEST
Buy a Playing Card for $100 and a chance to walk home with any Live Auction Item before someone outbids you. When you arrive, be sure to make your purchase early. Only 1 deck of cards will be sold. For $100, you have a 1 in 52 chance to win... buy a couple of cards for greater odds at winning. The announcement of the Best of the Best winner will open the Live Auction.

TREASURE CHEST KEYS
Alice was looking to unlock the Rabbit's riddle but our Keys unlock $500. Purchase Keys for the chance to unlock the cash. Keys are $25 each and only 100 will be sold. As you move from Silent Auction to Dinner, stop at the Treasure Chest to try your Key/s. If your Key opens the Treasure Chest, you'll find a Voucher for $500 redeemable for cash at Checkout.

Ready for a ride in the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups? A trip to Disneyland is sure to bring family fun. But if Disneyland isn't your thing, our Grand Prize Travel Voucher for $4,000 can be used to plan your own Wonderland Adventure. Silent Auction is your chance to purchase last minute Raffle Tickets. Winners will be announced during the Live Auction. Winners need not be present to win. 

The closing of the 7:15pm Table marks the end of our activities upstairs. Make your way down the Rabbit Hole to Dinner and the Main Event. Don't forget to try your key for cash!

Dinner 7:30 pm

SIMPATICA is our caterer for the evening. We're simply thrilled! They've taken care of everything from passed Hors d'Oevres to Dessert and have a fabulous reputation of serving the finest, freshest, local ingredients. To build on our theme of Community, our dinner will be served Family Style, a Madeleine Auction first.

While Simpatica is providing our menu, lead servers, and head bartenders, the Wait Staff & Bartenders are fellow Madeleine Parents. You will see them at drop off and pick up so take care to treat them with respect.

Complimentary Wine (one White & one Red) will be available at your table. Additional Bottles of wine can be purchased at the Wall of Wine. This is a fun opportunity to try your hand at choosing a surprise wine. All bottles have a minimum value of $15 and many are valued well above their $20 purchase price on Auction Night. You're welcome to have a Bartender open the Bottle for you to share at your table with friends or take it home for later.

THE LIVE AUCTION is our Main Event.

We've spent months coordinating and preparing a selection of Live Items that are sure to Wow and surprise even the veteran Auction attendees. We have dinner parties, trips, and more. Raise your paddles high and often for our school, our community, and our kids.

The complete Auction Catalog will be available online the week of the Auction. A traditional Catalog will be in your Auction Package. A sampling items is available on our Live Auction Sampling Page.

Many Live Items are best enjoyed with a group of friends. Take care to note which Live Items you absolutely must have. Think about with whom you'd like to share the experience. Talk about your maximum bids and be ready before Auction Night. Things happen fast once the Auction begins. Planning ahead can help.

It's our recommendation when purchasing a Live Item as a group that you split the item on Auction Night, each bidder paying his or her portion. This eliminates the awkwardness of asking friends for money later on and any misunderstandings. Our Cashiers can take care of this for you.

Throughout the Live Auction, the Fireside Lounge is open for you to view the Class Projects. The Sign Up Events will be brought down so you can continue to fill your social calendar for the year. Sign Up Events close at 8:45 pm and the Late Silent Auction Table closes at 9 pm.

Our recorders and cashiers will be entering bids and preparing your winnings for pick up as Items are Sold. Check out opens at 9:15 pm. This year, you'll find Check Out in the Commons near Silent Auction Pick Up.

Making this move from the Fireside to the Commons has enabled us to give all the Class Projects a home. Rather than scattered on the outskirts of the Commons, they'll be the primary focus, easy to view in the cozy environment of the Fireside Lounge. Our kids work diligently to create these amazing works of art. It feels right to give them this prized floor space.

We're able to spread the guest tables out a bit in the Parish Hall, giving us more room to move around and be creative with our floor plan. And we're hoping that fewer guests will forget to pick up their Silent Auction winnings; they'll be right there as you check out, thus, smoothing out the Post Auction process.

When you Check Out, make sure and Round Up for the Endowment. It's an easy way to ensure that our Endowment continues to grow enabling us to offer Tuition Assistance to those who need it.

The majority of Auction Items purchased are easily carried out at end of the evening. For the few items that require some planning of transportation and an extra pair of hands, the Parish Hall will be open on Sunday from 9-Noon for pick up in the Fireside Lounge.

Prior to the festivities, select a designated driver or plan to take a Radio Cab. We'll gladly pay for your cab ride home to ensure your safety!

Our aim is to give you the best possible experience from beginning to end.

We have thoroughly enjoyed planning this special evening for our community and hope to make a night to remember... great food, fun times, and wonderful memories for years to come. We couldn't do it without our fabulous subchairs and the many, many volunteers. We sincerely thank all those who have worked tirelessly to help make the Auction a success, and ask everyone to match our volunteers' dedication with generosity.
